This is a hybrid home with a timber framed great room.  The great room measures 28x28, and features three king post trusses.  The wood is eastern white pine.  The rest of this energy efficient house was built using concrete walls with insulated forms, and geothermal heating.  There is no basement, and the timber frame sits directly on the slab, which has radiant floor heating embedded in it.

Northern Lights Timber Framing and Clark Bremer were wonderful to work with. They helped plan and design our living area to perfection. The crew was very professional and made our home a work of art. If I ever build again, they will be the first ones that I call.
