This massive White Oak beams in this frame made for a challenging raising, but the homeowner loves the rugged look of the timbers.  The Master Bedroom features a cross-gable design with four valley rafters overhead supported by a parallel chord truss.  Guest bedrooms are over the carport.  Designed by Pete Keely at Collage Architects of Minneapolis.

I want to thank you and your staff at Northern Lights for your contribution to our guest cabin.  The white oak timber frame you built is literally breathtaking, and is the focal point of our cabin.  I am still amazed at how intricate and tight the joints are, and sometimes I lose track of time when staring at the beauty and complexity of the cathedral ceiling in the master bedroom.  My only complaint about the project is that the guest cabin turned out so nice that I have cabin envy when staying in the main cabin!  It was a true pleasure to have Northern Lights involved in our project; you exceeded my expectations in the design, timing, quality of the frame and beauty of the end product.
