After talking to a number of timber frame contractors including Northern Lights Timber Framing and several national firms, it became apparent that selecting a local contractor was the best way to proceed.  It was obvious from the first time we met with Clark that he and his crew were not only very dedicated and professional but also easy to work with.  He answered all of our questions and even helped us locate a first rate home designer.  From the initial design stages through the carving and raising of the frame to the end of the project Clark was always willing to answer any questions or concerns that we, our designer or general contractor had.  We also spent many enlightening hours at his shop where he patiently and enthusiastically explained the whole process and showed us the work being done on the timbers.  The whole project from start to finish has been a very enjoyable experience for us and that has been due to the professionalism, dedication, skill and passion that Clark, his crew and everyone else involved has demonstrate throughout.  I would not hesitate to recommend Northern Lights Timber Framing to anyone thinking about building a timber frame home.
